How are you? Probably DeviantArt seems a mess to you right now, there is a continuous flow of drawings that rapidly accumulate on the site. It's pretty difficult to manage to stand out between all the others. 

If you are looking for some comments under your deviations or maybe you are waiting for someone to add to their favourites your art, then the best way to accelerate the whole process is to be active yourself and search in DeviantArt main pages. Find an artwork you like and leave a comment to the artist writing which are your impressions, why you liked it and, if you have one, a suggestion for them to continue improving. The most of the times they'll appreciate and will most likely visit your page to watch your work and they could even return the favour. 

Groups are also a way to stand out since they give you the possibility to share your work with them and their followers, your art will then be seen and appreciated by many more deviants. If you are kind with others then you'll probably even find new friends to talk about art together and show art works to each other.
